A Walk In The Country - Laughanstown, Tully Church And Burial Ground

The Laughanstown Luas stop is part of the new Cherrywood Luas (B1) extension line from Sandyford. However, before the service began a number of people claimed that the access road to the Luas stop would not be able to cope with vehicular traffic and pedestrians.

Having walked the road in question I can confirm road cannot accommodate two way traffic. It is not wide enough to take two cars at once and there are few places to pull in or turn around. There is no public lighting making it dangerous at night and there are several blind corners and many sections in really poor condition.

I did not notice anyone getting on or off at the stop but I wonder if this was due to the lack of proper access or because the stop is in the middle of nowhere.
